Description

A quick and delicious Creamy Ranch Chicken recipe made in the CrockPot, perfect for busy families.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional for searing)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional for garnish)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Optionally sear the chicken breasts in a skillet with olive oil for a few minutes to lock in flavor and juices.
  2. Place the chicken breasts into the CrockPot.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning mix, chicken broth, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  4. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken in the CrockPot.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 240–360 minutes or HIGH for 120–180 minutes, until the chicken is tender and shreds easily.
  6. Optional: Garnish with shredded cheddar cheese and chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, microwave or warm on the stove. Can freeze for up to 3 months.
