Description

A comforting one-pot meal of tender chicken with a creamy sauce, served over angel hair pasta.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 8 ounces angel hair pasta
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the Crock Pot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup and Italian dressing mix, then pour it over the chicken.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the chicken is tender.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions.
  5. Shred the cooked chicken in the Crock Pot and mix it with the sauce.
  6. Serve the creamy chicken mixture over the drained angel hair pasta.
  7. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For a creamier texture, consider adding cream cheese to the sauce mixture. Optionally, sprinkle with red pepper flakes for added heat.
