Description
A comforting one-pot meal of tender chicken with a creamy sauce, served over angel hair pasta.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 packet Italian dressing mix
- 8 ounces angel hair pasta
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the Crock Pot.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup and Italian dressing mix, then pour it over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the chicken is tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions.
- Shred the cooked chicken in the Crock Pot and mix it with the sauce.
- Serve the creamy chicken mixture over the drained angel hair pasta.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For a creamier texture, consider adding cream cheese to the sauce mixture. Optionally, sprinkle with red pepper flakes for added heat.
