A delicious and easy meal featuring tender chicken breasts in a creamy ranch sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
- In a bowl, mix together the ranch dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chicken broth.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crock pot.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken and stir it back into the sauce before serving.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve over rice or pasta.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, you can add a bit of cornstarch mixed with water during the last hour of cooking. Customize with vegetables or add a kick with hot sauce.
