Description

A simple yet delicious one-pot teriyaki chicken dish, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Cooked rice or noodles (for serving)


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken in the crockpot.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, honey (or brown sugar), and sesame oil.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks and mix it back into the sauce.
  6. Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions.
