Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Add the chicken breasts to the sauce, ensuring they are coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until chicken is cooked through.
- Remove chicken and shred it, then return it to the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water, and add to the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
- Stir and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
