Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the sauce, ensuring they are coated.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until chicken is cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken and shred it, then return it to the slow cooker.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water, and add to the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
  6. Stir and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
