Description

A delicious and easy slow-cooked meal with zesty lemon and aromatic herbs, served over fluffy rice.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 lemon (juiced and zested)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the chicken breasts and coat them well with the mixture.
  3. Pour the chicken broth over the chicken.
