A simple yet delicious crockpot recipe combining tender chicken, savory au jus gravy, and ranch dressing with a hint of tanginess from pepperoncini peppers.
Ingredients
- 3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix (approximately 0.9 oz)
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix (approximately 1 oz)
- ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter
- 6 pepperoncini peppers
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts evenly in the bottom of the Crock Pot to form a single layer.
- Sprinkle the au jus gravy mix and ranch dressing mix evenly over the chicken breasts.
- Place the stick of salted butter directly on top of the seasoned chicken.
- Distribute the six pepperoncini peppers around the chicken inside the Crock Pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Remove and shred the chicken with two forks, then return it to the Crock Pot.
- Mix thoroughly with the juices and sauce before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding garlic or sliced onions. Adjust pepperoncini based on spice preference.
